Driving Directions
  • Take I-90 to exit 109 (Canyon Rd/Ellensburg)
  • Once off the exit, go north into Ellensburg
  • Take a left on Umptanum road (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Continue on Umptanum Road as it goes under I-90
  • Entrance to the park is just before you cross the Yakima River bridge
  • Go thru the gate, down to Carey Lakes
  • Continue to the end of the road and set up your gear
 Race Format
  • 4 sections of 5 lap preliminary heats
  • Top six boats to Final
  • Winner of the "Connie" is alternate boat in the finals
  • Roundnose Classic - 2 Prelims and a Final
